Mayflower is a thoughtful example of how a well-designed home can make the most of a smaller block. Working closely with our clients, we shaped the home around the natural parkland opposite, using a simple U-shaped layout to capture the northern light and create a sense of openness and privacy. The warm natural brick, standing seam cladding and timber blade wall give the home a distinctive yet timeless character, while generous glazing brings the garden and changing light into the living spaces. Inside, every space has been carefully considered, from the light-filled hallway and private courtyard to the open-plan living areas and generous storage. Designed with our clients’ future in mind, the home also incorporates thoughtful accessibility features and strong passive solar principles, creating a comfortable, practical home that will continue to work beautifully for them for years to come.
